Milwaukee Public Museum Visit

So, we went to the Body Worlds exhibit at the Milwaukee Public Museum. Bottom Line: Adults loved it, the two almost-9-year olds experienced a very high "Ick!" factor during the experience. I have decided that the exhibit would probably be better recommended to children ages 12 and above.

However, I DO strongly encourage you to make a visit to the Milwaukee Public Museum with your youngsters to see the following exhibits and IMAX movies!
  • Puelicher Butterfly Wing - Live colorful butterflies surround you in a tropical rain forest setting.
  • Bugs Alive! - LIVE insects and bugs including Hissing Cockroaches, Scorpions, Beetles & more
  • Living Oceans - Experience live under the sea with an imaginary voyage to ocean's bottom
  • Permanent exhibits featuring continents & specific countries
  • IMAX shows - The Human Body (Recommended!) and The Alps (saw previews) Coming soon: The Grand Canyon Tour!
  • And, much, much, more...
  • View the complete list of permanent and special exhibits at the MPM here: http://www.mpm.edu/exhibitions/index.php
Side Note: Later in 2008, there will be a TITANIC exhibit at the MPM. We will be there!
