GIRLS ROCK, the Movie @ Sundance in Madison, WI

I am recommending the movie - GIRLS ROCK - to all of the girls and the women that I know. Daughter and I caught it yesterday at the Wisconsin Film Festival screening. The full-house audience laughed and cried.

From the IMDb website synopsis: "Girls Rock! follows the journey of four 8-18-year-olds as they are transformed by the liberating powers of music at the Rock 'n' Roll Camp for Girls. Given the opportunity to bash the drums, wail like a banshee and take up space, the girls jettison gender stereotypes like old hats on their way to a joyous final concert that will change their lives forever."

Mothers, please take your daughters to see this movie! It has an important message for women of ALL ages! Opens April 18th at Sundance Theatre in Madison, WI.
